With his potential to excite, Speedy should get an attractive number - 11 most likely (as well as its being his prefered number - see his website), with Robbie switching back to 9.

I would not take too much notice of the training tops, as the offal site has 26 down as Paul Anderson, and one of our new guys had that number on the other day.

 

I'd be surprised if Robbie wasn't given the No. 9 shirt, if, as expected, Cisse is sent out on loan. That frees up the 11 shirt which would probably go to Speedy. If Kromkamp leaves what frees the 2 shirt, which I'd expect Aurelio to take, and I'd have thought if Hamann leaves his shirt would pass to Paletta.
