Well, 179cm is the same as the official site, wikipedia and a number of other places, and is closer to 5ft 10" than 5ft 11", so I think that's the upper limit of any claims here. Don't think he's gonna get close to 6ft any time soon. He was s*** last season mind you.

OK. Here's a more recent (well, a year ago) picture of him standing next to and more or less at the same level as 6ft 1" Fernando Torres. Not exactly being dwarfed by him is he? Calling him "tiny" is ridiculous.

About five posts up. Links to a U20 world cup game from '07.They're all standing in a line, so no perspective issues. Could be a bit of slouching going on though.

Very convenient as well. If he's a failure for Juve then he's obviously s*** and the decision to send him on loan was correct. If he's a success though, it's because he can only play well in Italy, and the decision to send him on loan was correct.

From that picture Hassony showed he's clearly a bit shorter than Mercado, who's 5ft 11", and a good bit taller than Aguero (not Arenas as the picture says) who's 5ft 7 1/2". 5ft 10" doesn't sound too far off. All of which is by-the-by as he's clearly not hobbit-sized as Leo made out.

haha Just check some other sites. Yahoo have him down as 5ft 4" (!), some other sites have him as 5ft 8" or 5ft 9". I reckon he must be growing at an incredible rate. Official site has him down as 1.79m though as do lots of others.

Well indeedy. Wiki has Konchesky at 1.78m and Insua at 1.79m, so Insua is in fact the taller of the two. Strange post by Leo.

I'd hazard a guess that Leo is joking.

He's essentially saying that those stats are pretty much worthless in any discussion about the merits of Insua and Konchesky, especially when one of the players has yet to play a competitive game for us. Which is true.
