Nah, the REAL season why we failed to clear the corners was because Liverpool were unaware that Ivanavic (sp?) was playing. I saw a picture yesterday with a caption of Chelski's first goal being scored which said, "Bloody hell. who the heck was that? Thought Bosingwa was playing?"

I'm a bit worried that this two week international break will mean that we will have lost a lot of the momentum. It also gives Man Utd breathing space to re-charge their batteries regardless of Rooney etc.

Know of all the usual suspects who are reported to be Liverpool fans but didn't know that Daniel Craig (aka James Bond) was. Just got a birthday present of a full DVD set of Liverpool legends apparently.

I read it earlier today in either the Daily Express or the Mail. Quite a big piece, I recall.

I see he has bought back into Redrow Homes. A financial article I read today reckons he is still worth some £400 million after the price fallout. Bearing in mind we have two Yanks owning us who are in debt up to their ears in this country, would he have been a better bet after all? There are people on this site who will know him better than I. What's the opinion now?

I see one paper this morning, in reporting the Middlesbro game, marked N'gog with a 'one'. I also note that Hamill was reported Man of the Match at Barnsley -just for info.

Absolutely correct. Man Utd have had more injuries than us as well. As for a 'fantastic performance', we will see at the end of the season when we find ourselves just as many points behind the Mancs as last year..... The squad is just not good enough to win the league, nor has it been all season.

Except that I was in Boston nearly 15 years ago - before Parry - and there was/is a large sports shop there which had loads of Man Utd shirts as well as Arsenal and Celtic. It goes a bit deeper than your comment, IMO.
