    Especially as a lot of them have/are playing for the U21 team which is currently lagging behind everyone at the bottom of their league...

    Probably more likely that it has more to do with the fact that the team flew 30,000 miles before the season even started, playing in Australia, the Far East et al. Normal pre-season training went out the window, I believe.

    Frankly we should know if a player will suit our style of play before we buy him. But knowing how Liverpool seem to employ their scouts, can't say that I am that surprised.

    Absolutely agree about Sturridge. Start him for thirty minutes and then bring on Benteke as a sub. Think we would have had a better chance of scoring in the first half with Firmino AND Sturridge on the pitch.

    Just been watching Shaqiri against Man City. Impressive. All the talk about us watching him and he goes to Stoke for a far lower price than was quoted when Liverpool were mentioned. Think we missed a trick there.
