  7. You mean "You can take the boy out of Liverpool, but you cant take Liverpool out of the boy" ? The thought never crossed my mind. I think that anyone who spits on another person is a dirty b*****d. Anyone.

  21. I have been away and missed all this. Blatter been opening his gob again? So whats he saying now? That players should have the right to move to any club they wish regardless of any contract he is signed up to? Does this mean that these same players should be able to move at any time they feel like and will not be tied down by any imposed transfer window? You could end up with players plying their trade with 2-3 clubs per season. As for Ronaldo, go on lad, slap a transfer request in. My biggest worry here has never been “If he goes” its will Madrid rip us off and get him on the cheap as per normal. Spurs are another one that rips us off.
  22. I don’t think he gets any worse treatment than other strikers. He puts it about a bit and so gets it back. He is quite a clever lad and knows where to put his leg and body to draw the foul. He was guilty a couple of times of going down a little easy during the Euro`s, but on the whole he does take it well and dishes it out well also. Any striker, especially one who is upfront alone is going to get knocked about a bit, it’s the name of the game. I think you worry about him too much. Just because he looks like a Mary-Ellen it doesn’t mean he cant handle himself.
  23. Congrats Raisebeck and hard luck to Cunny. I thought you had it in the bag but you shot yer load a tad too early. I dropped 4 places after that final. Never mind.
  24. Can you elaborate please?
  25. That may be true, but do Arsenal rotate as much as Liverpool? Also Arsenal have not won the league for 3 years from the days when they had a lot of older players in the side. Cobs seems to be talking a lot of sense about this but I get the feeling he is beating his head against the wall here. For rotation to work you have to rotate when you need to and not just out of habit and you need squad players that can come in and do a job. Seeing as Chelsea have two teams worth of expensive players they dont have a problem and United have players like JOS, Fletcher, simpson and even Hargreaves who come in and most of the time dont look out of place. Liverpools squad players have in the past let them down. Benitez should only start to rotate later on in the season when you are trying to stay in the title race during the run in.
