I always expected to see the day when a Liverpool fan would totally ignore the fact that a United fan was actually taking the piss out of a Liverpool fan (A@A) for not aknowledging the fact that he was just joking in the first place. Do you not think SAF has at least another Title in him btw?

Maybe that is the problem right there. If every Ref stuck to the letterof the law for every single game like a robot then every team would be down to 7 or 8 men every game. People would get pissed off and stop going to matches or tuning into matches on TV and Cricket would then be where the money is. I was at the Portsmouth game behind the goal and tbh I was f***ing angry with the Ref that day, especially when he somehow managed to be the only person on the planet besides A@A who did not see attemped murder on Ronaldo as a penalty, the result being I had to rip my treble bet up. It was only £800 I know, but that is better than a kick in the left testicle. Even so, on the way home when I listened to our managements comments, I did let out a f***ing big groan.

Not sure he has got away with this scot free. Most Chelsea fans asked on tv and radio said that was his last action in a Chelsea shirt as far as they are concerned. Its funny how a lot of regular match goers said that often when he goes down in a theatrical manner, the Chelsea supporters are on his back to get up as they are a bit embarrassed by it all. It’s the same at Old Trafford with Ronaldo, a lot of “Get the f*** up” goes on.

I suppose its all down to who you support and the usual bias that a person cannot hide. I mean of the two penalties I would have said Arsenals was nailed on.
