Why? Neither Reading, Wigan or Hull had ever played in the top division before. In that time, all other teams that came up had been in the top flight before.

Have you any idea how that sounds? Its now becoming the norm for these so called “Not a chance in hell of staying up teams” to not just stay up, but to finish the season in the top half. Who gave Wigan a chance in hell of not going straight back down? Or Reading and now Hull. While the likes of Derby, WBA and other old favourites like Sunderland just bounce up and down between the two divisions.

United will adapt when Ronaldo leaves and the likes of Tevez, Rooney and Berbatov will step up to the mark. Now I cant guarentee that, but you cant dispute it either. Whether he leaves or not is not certain but it gets mentioned here week after week. Question is, is this done to make the likes of me and OM feel bad, or is it a case of living in hope? Fergie will be a big loss as well when he leaves. CQ is a big loss this season. A couple of years ago on this site it was stated that we will be f***ed when we lose Giggs and Scholes, but its not the case, or wont be when they do retire. United are a big team with lots of spending power and I know its not often a player as good as Ronaldo comes along, but the money will be put to good use. Its going to be a few years yet before United and Liverpool swap places (That I say in hope ) As for class. I will highlight them from now on just so you can keep up.

Yes yes. I found it annoying, but to be honest what you lot say is to be taken with a pinch of bitter salt. If it was Torres doing it then as we all know it would be "Class" I like the Rooney celebrations. I also love the sound of clutching at straws. Ronaldo aint going nowhere till next season.

Not as much as I used to be. As I have said before, where I lived you supported United or Liverpool and the rivalry was intense. But now I live in the south I work with 3 Arsenal fans and 3 Spurs fans. Its a scouse free zone Yeeeeeesssssssssssssss! I always thought Liverpool fans pissed me off with their arrogance, but boy do Arsenal fans take the top prize.

Not true. I would say we hate each other with the same passion. The "probably more so" is just another example of Liverpool fans trying to pinch the moral high ground. Look at the bile posted on this forum and the United ones and we are all as bad as each other. f***ing long may it last.

But lets be honest here. You lot hate United ( For Andy, Manchester) and so would very rarely compliment a performance. Funny, for Smithdown, the ref gave Ronaldo nothing yesterday. It was a very good performance and we are starting to get back to form again. I still think Chelsea are Favs this season.
