  1. The 3 we've had lately haven't worked out for us but Everton don't seem to have a problem with their loanees so I don't see why anyone would be against it on principle.
  2. Martin Skrtel. With his feet. Whoda thunk it?
  3. That would help with the grappling and shirt pulling etc, plus you're guaranteed never to give a pen away for hand ball.
  4. I checked. It does.
  5. Brendan said end of Jan in his presser. I know who to believe.
  6. If it's a choice of either-or, then Mourinho crying wins hands down.
  7. That's a good one
  8. So he did. Enrique was instrumental in our first and we conceded from 2 set pieces. The second one boiled down to Bale saying to the ref "freekick please" and the ref obliging.
  9. What position is he playing for them?
  10. Well he did get beat in almost exactly the same way as Agger for the Norwich goal. Difference is that Mignolet bailed him out. But agree with the overall assessment, thought he did well. As did Skrtel, OG aside, but maybe I'm too generous with defenders
  11. From dotty vee Brendan Rodgers makes one change to his Liverpool line-up for today's Barclays Premier League clash against West Ham United at Anfield. French defender Mamadou Sakho replaces Reds vice-captain Daniel Agger, who is ruled out of the encounter due to illness. Otherwise, Rodgers' XI is unchanged from the one which eased to a 5-1 victory over Norwich City on Wednesday night. Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Flanagan, Sakho, Skrtel, Johnson, Allen, Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling, Coutinho, Suarez.
  12. We win 5-1, they lose at home - I don't really give a flying about any other result.
  13. He left what, 6 or so years ago, but I still love the Luis Garcia song...
  14. That strike from Allen deserved a goal
  15. Fouled wasn't he?
  16. He's been his usual self for me - plenty of industry, but occasionally lacking quality. So no.
  17. Any idea who that is?
  18. Well I'm in a happier place than I was on Sunday, I'm guessing this is as well. He's ridiculous today isn't he?
  19. It depends. It's not that uncommon (e.g. in banks) that moving to the competition causes immediate gardening leave.
  20. Oh good. Speculation is much more fun than truth.
  21. What about that volley that Morientes crashed against the bar and Garcia tucked away, was that Goodison or Anfield?
  22. That's the consequence of taking of Cissokho, unless you do a double sub and that's a bit risky at half time. Besides, who are you gonna bring on for LB? Agger?
  23. Well yes, all the best to the lad, but it's hard to forget that the last time he played he got our keeper sent off and was inches away from walking himself
  24. I thought that wasn't a bad performance against a Sunderland team that gave it everything they've got. Johnson and Coutinho coming back can only improve the side as well, so I'm pretty happy at the moment (the beer helps, of course).
  25. Did I mention I love Touré?
