With the dispatching of Man U last week and them hitting the skids at Fulham today, Ive been looking at their fan forums to try and judge the attitude and expectations of the Utd fans. Unfortunately all Ive found out is that the Man U "fans" (Im sure the phrase "Glory Hunters" was coined for them) are obsessed with the Mighty Reds. Its astonishing, some of the bilge they come out with is unbelievable. I know that like most big teams they attract fans from far and wide, but on the evidence of trawling through site after site, it seems that though the fans from further afield embrace the more negative side of the rivalry more readily than local supporters. The amount of members to these sites that have some kind of reference to LFC in their usernames was also quite incredible. I whole heartedly detest the term "Dippers" as well, Ive seen it on the Man U and Chelsea web sites.

Went on a Chelsea fansite and its like a mirror image of this thread!

The phrase "Tempting Fate" always comes to mind when someone puts a post like this up. My answer would be "I dont know". No one knows, take it one match at a time like the team does and hope for the best. My only hope is that Rafa starts consistently playing his strongest team and will realise that he may have to start throwing caution to the wind in some matches.

I'd acquit him unfortunatly. I think most people on here would, some would think about it long and hard, but in the end we would acquit. I think this thread has been mostly about justifying why a Manc U fan got a kicking from Stevie and his mates. Doesnt the jury get questioned by the prosecution and the defence beforehand to ensure that potential jurors who may be biased are removed or have I been watching too much TV?
