Although not a certainty, it's around 95% likely that I know of a daytrip flight (no ticket) that will be up for sale but at a vastly reduced price (about £250). Will definitely know tomorrow but if anybody's interested, email me or respond to this post. Apologies if this is in the wrong place.

My old man was saying that there was a fella who got filled in outside Wembley in '65 for trying to sell spares outside at inflated 60s prices. Apparently some grock just decked him, took his tickets off him and then dished 'em out there and then to fans. Can't see that happening over there but a nice thought

In fairness, he (the boss) wasn't being a c*nt about it, it's because of a project they're working on and the lad is one of their top technical boys. Unfortunately his technical credentials are now working against him .

Great point. One of the lads who qualified yesterday has found out this morning that his boss won't let him have the time off. He phoned one of the lads who was unsuccessful and said, "There's my fancard number and details, just make sure you get me a programme". That, IMO, is the way it should be done, not just to your mates but to any genuine Red.

That attitude always makes me laugh. There were shedloads of local lads in Istanbul happily snapping away but that's okay? For the record though, I've never taken a picture at the match in my life .

Indeed. Already had some parasitic c*nt offering me one today for, get this, a "snip" at £300. As I'm sorted, told him to f*cking whistle. Had a call back from the lad who put him in touch with me, four calls after he'd spoken to me, he sold the ticket - for £400 Absolute scumbags

Once the tickets are out, the availability of flights will be miles better. I'd imagine that a fair few bods who are non STH with six credits on the fancard will already have booked flights/digs etc so there are bound to be a few unhappy chappies with flights that they'll want to sell in a hurry. Mind you though, the STH's aren't getting priority.....
