Need a bit of guile on there firmino or Elliot for jota -
They've had time since before wijnaldum left to improve the midfield the reason we are in this position is down to negligence. Squad improvement should be continuous. Repeatedly signing new contracts with injury prone players is not indicative of continuous improvement. Should be cutting deadwood sooner. We shouldn't be looking at major rebuilds every 4-5 years.

I think fsg will sack klopp. Last night was the nail in the coffin. out of everything in February.

Gomez at fault for 2 of the goals. Bajetic bright light in midfield. Thrown into it a bit. If anything we need to protect a prospect like this.

Think Gomez was as much at fault for 2 of the goals. Bajetic has been a rare bright light in an otherwise depressing midfield. Kid thrown into it a bit. -

When was the last time John Henry etc were even at Anfield? Have they been here since the super league fiasco blew up in their faces? It's like they have completely dis-engaged since then. Which could be a sign that they want to be rid of us completely. They thought the super league would be the biggest money spinner now they focus their efforts on other things such as NBA purchases. The lack of any comment or communication from them especially after the last window debacle seems proof to me that they are all but done with us. You would think there would be an effort to calm things down and take the sting out of it even if just to say we have a plan in place that is geared towards the summer. There is massive instability on the football side of things the lack of direction and desire to solve these problems has put the club into a kind of inertia. I can see Klopp having enough of this and getting out before things get too much worse. He has already come out and said that we need to spend (I think he was referring to the last window) to keep up. Other than his own personal job security why would he then stay when its obvious there is no backing there for him to do the job he needs to do. He could do a job at any number of clubs now where he would get more backing in the transfer market than he has gotten from FSG. Must feel like he is pushing water uphill.

From the perspective of investment in the playing staff and continuous improvement of the football side of the business FSG have a very poor track record. I saw a table the other day where we are ranked second from bottom in terms of net spend on transfers since 2017. Six years of under investment in relation to the clubs around us. They have ramped up the commercial side significantly to the point where we are the 3rd richest in the world but where is the money to improve the core business - the football!? They are no longer good stewards of the club and have betrayed the principles of which the club was built, the drive to improve and succeed. This is why the likes of Gordon, Ward and others have left. The writing was on the wall - window after window of under investment. FSG are now jeopardising the clubs ambitions for the next 3-5 years as other clubs build around us we will be left in the ruins of what could have been. Think what I'm trying to say is f*** OFF FSG!

Team looks a shadow of what it was

i think that we heavily relied on certain players over the last couple of seasons who played incredibly but the true lack of squad depth has been exposed. Injuries in key positions have hurt us heavily this season and the lack of true squad development and investment is now biting us on the a***. FSG playing at being paupers I think is the biggest cause of this downfall.

Already blew it with the first 2 subs.

I hope I am wrong but I think we have already surrendered the league looking at some of the performances yesterday. They were there for the taking especially in the second half.
