  1. We did the tour a couple of weeks ago. We enjoyed it but what really made a difference was interacting with the guides in each location. Felt like they all had a story or two to tell, and they were entertaining as they'd probably told the same story a million times. We were lucky I think that we weren't in a particularly "chatty" group so we didn't have to wait long for an opportunity to chat to each guide. So for anyone thinking of doing it, I'd advise forgetting about the iPad thingy and just making a beeline for each of the guides.
  2. I have very fond memories of watching Ronaldinho and not so much of Neymar. Maybe it's my age Or Ronaldinho was more fun and less of a diver/moaner.
  3. I was thinking the same. Don't think I've seen a picture where he's been smiling.

  5. Oooh - this shirt is quite nice https://www.wapupu.com/26-27-LIV-High-Quality-Training-Short-Suit-p2268230.html Might need to drop 5 kilos though
  6. At risk of spamming two threads instead of one, I've just realised I'm taking the family to Liverpool on the day of the Como game. Do we think it'll be a sell out and if not what's the best way to get tickets?

  13. Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else, but you are the one who gets burnt.
  14. It's very hard indeed. Though possibly a wee bit easier in a year when the league winners of the previous 4 years who averaged 89 points suddenly drops to 71.
  15. I agree it's not easy and there are a huge amount of variables. It's just that the simple line that Slot did something that Jurgen couldn't in the previous 4 seasons, while factually correct, ignores all of these variables.
  16. Yep 82 and 92 would have won both PL's had there not been another team that beat Slot's total from last year. Maths indeed is great! We got knocked out of the CL in April and played pretty poorly in the League Cup final mid March. Plenty of suggestions that we were goosed by the end of the season. I assume you're claiming that if we really wanted we'd have been able to avoid dropping those points at the end. Not sure that's true. And last season might suggest the slide had already started.
  17. >>"Try and write that on the trophy" Nah sorry, I (at least) can't ignore that City got 91,89,93 and 86 points in Klopp's last 4 seasons. All points totals that would have beaten us in 24/25. >>"We blew the opposition away - we lost one game until April" Try blowing away opposition that gets more than 90 points. Reckon it's not as easy. Slot did well, fair play. He also benefitted greatly from a relative City collapse.
  18. He got 92 points in one of those years. Equating the difficulty of winning the league when the competition gets 93 points rather than 74 points is wrong imo.
  19. I'm happy to agree that your point is valid for 50% of the quoted 4 years.
  20. In the proceeding 4 years Jürgen twice got more than enough points to have beaten Arsenal's 74 points in Slots winning season.

  22. He might lack a bit of humility. Hard to blame him when he's so damn handsome. Reckon we'd we midtable without him this season though.
