hes a c**t! there are many in israel who think he is briliant,but the truth is he is an average manager,who had incredible luck his entire career (except for that awful night in moscow).he basicly built his career on benayouns back,both in the israeli league,and the israeli NT. there are also many here ,like me,who hate him.he is a dirty manger.15 years ago in a"match of the season" he told his striker to injure the opp center half.he ended that guy career.what he did to maurinho,he also did in israel 2 times,and now he did it to the guy that managed pompey whos name escapes me.he is a master in twisting facts. but sadly,he is right in what he said.i hate him!

one might think we have a team of sprinters... its not like lucas who plays in his position has any pace. i would be happy if we start putting more emphasis on pace when we buy players,but he is already here,and as i said,its not like he is being kept out by usain bolt.

It was average.we gave them nothing,but our build up play is really poor.there is no movement of the ball,and the gaps between our players when in possesion are too big.

I didmt mean "young kid" in a way that he impressed me despite being young.i think the way he handles himself on the pitch is very calm,and as you said,intelligent.and that is very good to see as he is still very young and you dont usually expect a player his age to play this way.

great post man! the thing i loved seeing more then anything from the kid is that he kept asking for the ball.a young player,with the s**t form we are in and all the pressure,that shows me that he might really be a very good player for us. he reminds me of fabregas the way he handles himself with the ball.just looks like he has more time then others and he doesnt panic when closed down.

i agree. voronin usualy is s***,but today he worked hard,and was way,way better then kuyt,who with all due respect,is a mediocre player at best.with all his good will and hard work,he isnt good enough. when torres and gerrard play they take the defenders off him,so he has more space which helps him disguis his awful technique.

lyon aint bad... they have good pace up front which is always worrying

oh ok,makes more sense if the reports are not accurate. but still,its apperently more then masch salary,and wouldnt surprise me if its more then alonso`s. we need to show our key players that they are valued,esp when the top clubs are targetting them.

according to reports in israel he will be on the 3rd highest salary at 80K a week. surely alonso and mascherano should be on at least the same salary as him.with all the spanish giants looking to take thm i hope they will get a pay rise as well.

as much as i hate them getting so much money,they wont be able to replace him.im just glad kaka has already move to madrid so they wont be able to get him.the best they can get is aguero,and as much as i woukd hate that to happen,he is no ronaldo,not even close.

higuain is excellent.has pace,strength,great control and is a very good finisher. i just dont see them selling,he is their best player.

he is one of the worst referees in europe. funny funny decisions he makes.will be interesting.

i think we have a problem as a team with set-pieces.our players dont attack the ball. every player just stands in his place,and then jumps as the ball arrives.we need to attack it or else we wont win the aerial battle.when attacking the problem is bigger.we are s**t in attacking set-pieces.i dont understand how for 5 years we didnt improve on that.we execute poor corners.doesnt matter who takes them,they are all worthless.yesterday i saw benayoun taking a corner.this thing really got me thinking we are not pracricing corners as benayoun cant cross.surley they see it when they practice. whenever sammi doesnt play we really are wasting our time with corners.someone needs to do a lot of work on skrtel and agger,and the rest of our tall players on how you attack the ball in the air. its just frustrating that we are so poor in such an important element of the game.

watched the second half yesterday against bayern.he looks impressive.big,strong,2 quality finishes.the second one was excellent.showed great technique taking controll of a through pass with a great first touch and calmly slotted with his left pass the keeper. wouldnt surprise me if benitez is tracking him,seems his type of player. but obivousley need to see him more.

i didnt like it either. you talk about an important game IN a tournament,but israel never qualified ! we are dreaming only about qualifying. for big countrys,the semis or finals or wining will be an achievment.for us just qualifying will be like winning the WC.. and again,he is far from being just an important player.he is an icon.he is like a prince here. he is the one that kids here idolize (sp).for the past week the only thing people talked about was if he will play or not,and how crucial it is he will and how we have no chance without him. i hate it when our players play for the NT`s but i dont blame them when they do,and in benayouns case i really had no doubt he would because he basically didnt have a choice.

you really think if torres had a very very important game with spain he wouldnt risk injury? you need to understand this was a H-U-G-H game for israel,he is the captain,the star,a player that since being 16 the whole country is looking up to him to lead us to a major tournament that we only once qualified to one,and it was 40 years ago... you probably dont understand benayouns status in israel.
