Ah lads - ye are mad - there has to be a place in the starting 11 for Stevie G when fit - We have the best english player in the world in our midfield that is one of us - team has a dip in form and he gets rid by the fans that he wants to win the premiership for. Arbeloa has done very well this season - It great to have someone like him in the squad - He's best a LB but I'm happy to see him play anywhere across the backline - He's playing well enough to take any of the other defenders positions so far

I'd say terrible is too far mate. I don't see where he has let us down yet - I agree we have a few players below form and playing in the centre in front of an unusually shaky Carra and in the middle with Stevie who is not even showing 40% of what he's capable of is difficult for the lad. I think Mascher isn't getting the usual support he gets in there and is looking a bit stretched rather than him being off form.

All we need now is someone to play alongside him and out of Crouchy Kuyt Voronin and Babel I haven't a clue who that is. Teams won't like the Torres Crouch pairing as they've got to make a choice - do they push up and keep Crouch out of the box or do they play deep and stop Torres running behind them...
