The English/Premiership candidates each have their pro's and cons, and if I'm being totally honest, none of which inspire me, which where the problem lies with most fans. Owen is better than the lot put together, but is unlikely to return unless something miraculous happens. Rafa is a very intelligent man and I have complete faith in whoever he decides to bring in. If he wants Defoe, then he's obviously seen something that he can work with. If Defoe is seen as Moro's replacement, then it's an improvement. Give Rafa some credit FFS, (not "For Fernando's Sake), he knows what he is doing. That'll mean when Djib is replaced, Rafa will have to replace him with someone like Kuyt, who is likely to score a fair few goals, but is more of a team player. Even Kuyt has his detractors. Oh, he plays in a s**** league and won't be able to repeat his prolific record etc. Course he's gonna be a risk, but Dutch players have a good record in most cases, adapting to the Premiership. If he manages 1 goal in every two, we'll be laughing. Rant over!!!
