It doesn't really matter what Rafa's/Rick's valuation of him is. It seems that Rafa wants him badly and is willing to pay a lot more than our valuation of Alves. This reminds me so much of the Simao saga last summer. Hopefully unlike that saga, this will reach a satisfactory conclusion soon. At the end of the day, we're a big club and will always pay a lot more for other clubs players to a certain extent.
