Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez is ready to complete the £10m signing of Sevilla's Brazilian Daniel Alves. (Daily Express)
  3. Serves him right for always wanting to be the centre of attention. Couldn't have happened to a nicer t***!!!
  4. Who do you support?
  5. Yup, I know, but with all the different attacking options that Rafa is bringing in for midfield and up front, I find it hard to see how Luis will get more opportunites then he did last season. I personally would be gutted if he goes and want him here next season, because he's earned his right to be here and I love him to bits. I'm just thinking of it from his point of view. Luis' best position is just behind the strikers. He's never looked comfortable playing on either wing.
  6. Never drink and post at the same time. Where's my feckin coat gone?
  7. I really fancy the Aussies against the Italians. I would p1ss myself if Angola pull off the biggest shock against the Brazilians as well.
  8. Although I dislike Cally with a passion, he's got a point. Where's Luis gonna get a game? On the left? Kewell, Zenden and Speedy. On the right? Stevie and Alves Up front? Robbie, Bellamy, Crouchy and possibly Kuyt.
  9. 5, 4, 3, 2....1 :dynamite:
  10. Song for Poll next season: "In Stuttgart You booked him three times..."
  11. Congrats to the Aussies (apart from O'Neill and Nice But Dim) of course.
  12. According to Portuguese paper Abola, we are still interested in Benfica's Luisao, along with Bayern, Arsenal & Atlético. They have set his price tag at ?18 million.
  13. Feck me, a positive person on here?
  14. Watching him for the first time properly yesterday, I can see why Rafa would want to sign him. Even though he was played out of position, he worked very hard and will give us options galore with Bellamy, Crouchy and Robbie, who are all inteligent players that could play together in any combination. He would fit in well with Rafa's hard work effort thesis of our current squad. Roll on next season.

  16. From OM site this evening: Cissé file: P. Diouf in Liverpool Wednesday President Olympien confirmed that the interest of the OM for Djibril Cissé was intact, it will be besides in Liverpool as of Wednesday to meet it. Pape Diouf also returns on the mercato. "a player like Djibril Cissé continues with much interesting us. That will lead me to return to me to Liverpool this Wednesday to meet the player and his leaders. Djibril is optimistic, it is trustful and it intends to take again the competition in October. We thus will carry on our way efficiently "it entrusted. "One speaks much about the transfers but we never wanted to animate the market. It was said very early that we intend to preserve the framework which is ours, which we will do. We already qualitatively reinforced it with a boy like Zubar who, point out it, was wanted by Monaco, Bordeaux and Arsenal. We also took young players on whom we go miser a little to the manner of Arsenal which can also unearth young talents "added Pape Diouf.
