personally thought he was distinctly average.......it was an obvious tactic of ours to get the ball to him as often as possible, so of course he saw alot of the ball... so we saw the same djibs, kick and rush.....most of his crosses were awful, 14million i expect a hell of alot more.. so yeah of course he has alot more weight on his shoulders.

just watched it and its friggin quality, fans diary of sorts of the trip to the champs league final including the madness in taskim square the night before!! Brings back wonderful memories of a day that will never be forgotten.. Now think i have the game covered from every concievable angle.. also i didnt realise but when a.c milan score the first goal....garcia runs from outside the box to grab to ball and get play started as soon as possible, while the rest of our players seem in shock.

Not denying it at all! as i didnt see the game.....just saying that i guess the reason we played better with our more experienced pros on the bench is maybe because those replacements NEED to put on a good display to cement their place not only in the world cup squad but also possibly the starting 11.

not really, those above are guarnteed a place in the squad for the world cup... While those who put on the good performance in the 2nd half are fighting not only for a starting line-up spot...but also a place in the squad.. SWP especially need to put on a good show seeing as hes hardly played this season.
