    I know, I don't want to do his talent down at all, he was one of the best I've ever seen, my childhood hero. I just think was he near as physical as Suarez, Sturridge? Both naturals as well...

    Owen, nobody could argue. People tried to hold him back a bit due to his young age, both at club and national level, it was impossible. He was too good. Fowler I'm not sure what he'd be these days. He might have the same issues as Elliott, not fast enough to be in the front 3, not physical enough to be a Bobby style false 9, not a winger, there aren't many numnber 10's about.

    Not much from the PC. Gomez is 'not close'. Darwin is suspended. Forest played at Anfield ealier in the season apparently.

    His kind of lanky head-bob run really reminds me of someone but I can’t think who. He’s definitely hard to pin down but really exciting. I still think Jurgen was a prat for not putting him on at goodison last season. Heads were gone by then I guess.

    I get that we did it once with Diaz, but doesn’t the club make itself look a bit silly by trying to cuckoo its way to deals were already 99% done? Instead of working hard and focussing on players, making them feel like they aren’t some sort of afterthought?
