  1. He’s brutal to watch. Don’t think Hugo knows what to do with him at all. Don’t blame him though, I’ve got no clue what sort of service he wants - he’s not alive around the box at all.
  2. I know the context is us being completely crap for months too. Judging that on its own merits, it was as good as various other games in Spain, Germany, France, Italy over the years. Better than how we played against Napoli when we were unbeatable for example.
  3. Thought that was as good as famous away performances in seasons when we’ve gone all the way in this thing
  4. I like how Italian clubs fans sing along to the CL tune
  5. Yeah. He's a one year coach, a win now coach.
  6. It's actually an important point, even though you're half joking here. He can't seem to adjust to the intensity of the league / keep doing what he was doing before whilst keeping his players fit.
  7. I ain’t watching all that I’m happy for u tho or sorry that happened
  8. Yeah it was quite bad when you put it like that. I was really enjoying Torres mind you. I wonder if Slot somehow made it through this season and then mounted a title challenge next season if I’d be a grumbling mealy mouthed a*** hole about it due to this season being so s***. It would be comparable.
  9. 07/08 I suspect it was part of a body of evidence around that time that led a lot of fans to not be on board with the ‘fun’ of 08/09.
  10. I paid a lad in the Albert 5 quid in pound coins for his ticket the last time we played them in the cup. They beat us 2-1
  11. Konate is the biggest problem in terms of incidents leading to goals, but I reckon we would still be having these collective mental collapses even if he’d been dropped. Mac alister is actually having more of a negative impact on our play than ibou. ibou keeps being the trigger for the collapse though.
  12. Aye me too. The attack wasn’t really the issue anyway. You can’t score 3 goals at Elland Rd and still not win. I know we have once before, famously, but they were decent then.
  13. This content is not viewable to guests.
  14. You might as well have brought on a suitcase with 100m quid in it for all the good it was having Isak on.
  15. Maybe. Both things can be true though. He was a win now appointment, which suited us. He’s not a rebuild guy.
  16. Yeah exactly. Dropping macca was a good idea too. Didn’t miss him or Salah at all, neither of them should have come on.
  17. Dropping Salah was a good idea and it’s worked, pretty much. Dropping Konate would be a good idea but we haven’t bought a senior centre back since the battle of Hastings.
  18. I can’t help find it funny when they get revealed as being nowhere near as clever as they think they are. Whoops, Jurgen was papering over a load of cracks, we might actually have to do some work, does anyone remember how to turn the football machine on?
  19. He’s not a mate of mine, I thought it was a joke as well tbh. Maybe it is but if so I have fallen for it. He’s better than Gerrard anyway so f*** it. You make me feel Gary O’Neill
  20. Nope. They like him, he will agree to interim it.
  21. Yes Gary O’Neill I’m hearing Gary O’Neill. Anyone mentioned him yet?
  22. My a***, it’s because he would have been on the scrap heap after another failure and he wanted to linger around LFC in case the job fell in his lap.
