I think they should give a f***. Don't really buy this 'they're an evil corporation, of course they're going to act evilly' as a reason for us to not take offence. Carlsberg is something that people associate with LFC, it's the biggest thing on the shirt, and it's an association that goes deeply into people's brains. I'm sure lots of blues and mancs won't drink it because of us, fine, I still probably wouldn't buy anything made by Sharp, because of a strong personal (and fairly childish) association. The Sun is also something people associate with LFC, for very different, and obvious reasons. I might be wrong here but I like to think the country is aware of the boycott, it's something i'm proud to be a part of. I feel that the boycott is a part of 'The Liverpool Way' as discussed a few months back. I expect our club to know about these things and respect them. As Carlsberg hold such a strong connection with us (16 long years as the email points out), I don't think it's unreasonable to expect them to behave in a certain way towards us. I think (hope) a lot of non liverpool fans will understand our chagrin at this too, so for some on here not to get it strikes me as odd.
