  1. Riera was our worst player. Benayoun Alonso N'Goals
  2. Shameful. Are we now at the stage where we're no better than Team England fans?
  3. hahaha
  4. that's a reverse mock. or at least, it was...
  5. yes, agree about sami coming back being a positive. let's score off a corner, let's score off a corner, na na na na oi na na etc.
  6. yeah i know, i'm not having a dig, it's just another week with not enough resources. also i reckon aurelio is about due for an injury, who's with me?
  7. Don't like that team much. Was hoping we wouldn't see Carragher on the right again as, i'm sure, was jamie.
  8. Don't underrate his set piece delivery. Xabi and Aurelio are very good at times but Barry is a cut above in this area, along with Arteta and Lampard. Having players in the box who regularly head balls into the net helps those two players as well, admittedly.
  9. Too big for his boots sometimes isn't he. Carra that is.
  10. i'm not talking to anyone who spouts the 'shackles' line.

  12. i wouldn't blame 'the draws', it doesn't take into account the different ways we have contrived to draw this season that have been the problem. 0-0's i've got no massive problem with, every title challenging team has to expect a few games where we don't manage to break teams down, especially with our limited bench. the major issue for me is the score draws, where have these come from? everton, wigan, hull, man city, these are the real bad ones. hull was poor because once we'd been kicked into life the players ran out of ideas totally, and eventually lost faith in each other, stopped passing and just had pot shots. if we'd had a crouch/heskey option we would have won imo (same for WHU at home). Everton we were panicking for the last 15, partly to do with the crowd, partly because of the lack of pace/brains up front, carra went missing, benayoun dived in, we concede the most damaging goal of the season. Wigan, same thing almost, the back 4 panicked like you wouldn't believe for that goal, and Lucas (who has always got a big mistake in him), tries to stop him at all costs. No need. City, don't know really, i wasn't there so wouldn't like to comment too much, but the goal is another soft one.
  13. delighted with that olly kay article. fingers crossed.
  14. Gerrard, for all sorts of reasons.
  15. He reminds me of Beardsley too DH.
  16. Aurelio Alonso Kuyt
  17. fixed that for you.
  18. these rumours aren't groundless though. hopefully it won't come to it but things look fragile to say the least. what's your take? is he putting his neck on the block again to call their bluff? hope he's not expecting another fan protest, we've all turned into utter gobsihtes while his back was turned.
  19. The Eel and Congestion Charge The Old Queen's Hat The Knife Crime & Firkin
  20. ah yes but how far above the playground? the top of the climbing frame? maybe you should calm down a little bit Mikey, and stop picking unnecessary holes in Benitez while you're at it.
  21. i know, we definitely aren't very good at them, i used to think the same as you 'why can't all 11 players strike a dead ball into the danger area?' but look at the difference when hyypia's in the mix...
  22. emotional attachment to a manager is a dangerous thing. as i'm finding out today with benitez. they'll break yer 'eart.
  23. We go for low, fizzy deliveries because of our lack of aerial threat.
  24. Kenny is exactly the sort of populist appointment the Americans would be looking to make, and it would be an unmitigated disaster.
  25. Nobody to aim at. Delivery not the issue.
