  17. I hope so. I've just won £200 on Campbell for first goal scorer and I've also got a fiver on him for last goal.
  18. Luckily the West Ham fans we were having a laugh and a drink with in Cardiff weren't like that at all. Then again, if they were anything like those you describe we wouldn't have been laughing and drinking with them.

He got 4/10 - "out of his depth" from Maddock in the Mirror today.
  20. I do.
  21. Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has moved to allay fears about Harry Kewell's participation in the World Cup. Kewell was forced off in the FA Cup final success over West Ham when he injured his groin in running out for the second half. The Australian wide man is set to be sidelined for two weeks but Benitez is confident that Kewell, along with Xabi Alonso - who was also substituted due to injury - will be fit to play in Germany. "I think he will be fit for the World Cup,'' said Benitez. ''It's not serious." While in celebrating Liverpool's victory in what was one of the best FA Cup finals in history Benitez has been quick to praise his team rather than individuals, he has reserved special praise for his goalkeeper Jose Reina. The Spanish shot-stopper was badly at fault for Dean Ashton's goal and had a shaky game throughout but in the shoot-out he excelled, saving three of West Ham's penalties to lead his side to victory. "He is famous in Spain for saving penalties and we had confidence in him,'' concluded Benitez. "Our goalkeeping coach spoke to him before the penalties and told him he had the intuition to save them. "He has done his job today.'' http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?HLID=38...ball_Home&f=rss
  22. Prince William will be the Guest of Honour at Saturday's FA Cup Final between Liverpool and West Ham United at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. In his first day as President of The FA, he will be presented to the teams and match officials before kick-off and after the final whistle will present the medals to both teams and The FA Cup trophy to the winners. He will also meet The FA Cup Players of the Round Award which recognise the outstanding performers of each stage of the competition. Prince William succeeds his uncle HRH The Duke of York as President of The FA. http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/NewsFromTheFA/P...heFA_Prince.htm
  23. Too f*cking right. And give that Prince William a good jeering too.
  24. Liverpool have been handed a boost on the eve of the FA Cup final with Xabi Alonso being included in the squad to face West Ham. Alonso has been named in Rafa Benitez's squad for the final at the Millennium Stadium after recovering from an ankle injury. The Spaniard had been sweating over his fitness after being stretchered off against Portsmouth last weekend. Alonso collapsed in agony in The Reds' 3-1 win over Portsmouth at Fratton just before half-time after appearing to land awkwardly on his ankle. The former Real Sociedad man has been undergoing intensive treatment in a bid to be fit after missing last season's Carling Cup final through injury. The classy midfielder is expected to be in Benitez's starting line-up as Liverpool look to end the season on a high by winning the FA Cup for a seventh time. http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?HLID=38...ball_Home&f=rss
