    We didn’t have an alternative for Konate except an unfit Gomez and Gakpo has been better than Mo in my opinion. Still, the use of our forwards and fitting Wirtz into the team has been appalling.

    There were some positive moments in the first half as well, i thought we looked like a top 4 football team for the first 65 minutes. Of course that counts for little if you then ship 3 unneeded goals...

    oliver was never going to let us win the city game or the united game, they were draws at best?

    We lost in a very frustrating manner so it's easy to overlook the silver lining. We scored 3 goals, weren't as lethargic as the last 5-10 games, looked like we had a plan going forward. Apart from madness in defence we looked much improved.

    Conte or Ancelotti, they’re both proven winners. Don’t know if we could pull either though this year.

    I feel like it’s the former, cause we’ve played plenty of teams that were absolute balls and not shown up. I hope I’m right.

    If we play 4-4-2 or any formation with 2 strikers and Wirtz in the hole then we can play 2. I don’t think Salah at 9 is weird, positioning and finishing are attributes that are more important at 9 than at RW and less prone to deteriorating with age.
