Champions league In the context of world football, "football when it matters" I think holds much more historical value. Think of it like this, 19 leagues and 5 European cups, or 18 Leagues and 6 European cups, I know which one I think sounds sweeter. In my opinion the fact remains the same, its harder to win the European cup than it is to win the Premiership. Champions of Europe over champions of england any day of the week, a real testiment to our adaptability, squad strength and tactical management.
