    Why not bring back Klopp as the senior person, Alonso as coach? his job over next 3 years is to ensure academy is best in world and feeding first team, and back office team is best in class with strong leadership and succession plan.

    I’m normally closer to the front lines when it comes to poking slot. im ok with the subs against gala though. We looked great. Needed that as a cleanser for team us and staff. after this there’s a 2 week break anyway. these are athletes, they’ll be fine for Brighton game. They can rest after that.

    I think the key to unlocking him is the other two midfielders, in particular grav and mac dropping deeper and closing the gap between defence and midfield. When we have the ball, all the midfielders push up, whereas we want a recycle from a max grav jones or dom to either build or make a pass or drive it forward. that’ll unlock even Wirtz more

    The big thing was Wirtz and Salah playing between the lines and narrower, with full backs overlapping. was Salah following instructions that changed this game? Dom is wasted at right back. Ridiculous he plays there. He should play next to grav really, unless we continue with Salah and Wirtz playing narrower.

    Anyone else wondering where that has been all season? either coaches didn’t see what we all did or players weren’t doing what was asked. i can’t see Salah choosing to stay that wide or players not pressing though. I’d love for slot to keep this rest of the season and give us a real dilemma on whether he stays or not.
