I've not seen this before. Just spent 15 minutes crying with laughter with the wife looking at me like I'm mental My favourite thing on the web since Kemp Folds http://kempfolds.blogspot.com/
Is Cole playing badly because he's s*** or because the tactics we're playing doesn't suit him at all? I know where my money is - if we;re playing higher up the pitch then he thrives.
Just off Parkhurst Road - about a mile north from you. As DH said, everyone always stands anyway - why not make the ends of stadiums safer by catering for this properly and safely.
You can't live that far away from me then. The site it was on was originally an Islington rubbish sorting & recycling depot - it's been located behind those flats they build round the side of Holloway Road tube station. Main problem with the Emirates design is the corporate middle tier. It seems to ruin the atmosphere as you've got that band of "suits" all the way around which breaks up the atmosphere. One of the design keys in G&H's stadium was that the corporate "boxes" would be under the stadium with lifts running between the seats and boxes. That way the seats appear to be just like "normal" seats and you don't get the stadium broken up like it is at Arsenal. I know that their design won't get used - but I really like that idea as a concept I think the Safe Standing debate isn't a debate any more. They've proved pretty conclusively that it works in Germany - if it's good enough for the Allianz Arena then it's good enough for anywhere IMO. I know this is a pretty emotive issue but we're over 20 years on from Hillsborough and Safe Standing is a million miles away from the conditions that lead to it.
".......now about my performance bonus for the sale" Saw the headline of that t*** Redknapp mouthong off over someone's shoulder on the bus this morning. What an utter tool.
