  1. If true, then id sack him in the morning. I think all the signings though fall at the managers feet. Im guessing the scouting department/committee give Rodgers a dossier on players they believe will improve us. If the manager then sees fit to ok these deals, then he is as culpable as the s***ty scouts. Its actually easier for the manager to then find fault, because it would be his job to try and prove the scouts wrong. A player should only be signed when the manager cannot see anything negative in the player that has been recommended. Simple as that.
  2. You've hot the nail on the head. Anybody involved with identifying, and subsequently buying these no marks needs serious looking at. And for me, that even includes the manager.
  3. Who here truly believes our owners would trust rodgers with another cent of their money? Seriously, just think about that for a minute.
  4. What did the Southampton fans make of this eejit before we signed him by the way?
  5. Crap in the world cup though. So he's continued his form with us.
  6. He's a massive s***house that cowers away from responsibility. Could that be classed as a strength?
  7. If we really wanted Sanchez, we should forced the move. i.e, just offered more money. Eventually people cave in to money. But we never gave the impression that we where that bothered. It was like "well, i suppose you could come here", as opposed to. "we want you, we think you're the dogs danglies, and with you we WILL WIN THE LEAGUE AND THE EUROPEAN CUP". We just kind of pissed about. Of course i could be completely wrong, but thats what it looks like from the outside looking in.
  8. Well they were both transferred, so yes, they were available. Rodgers was too busy canoodling his new tart instead of being at the World cup charming the pants off of prospective signings. Its safe to say Rodgers has absolutely wasted the biggest war chest in our history. And ultimately this summer will be the nail in his coffin. You cant waste money like that and turn it around with our budget. We're not city, we cant just afford to throw another 100 million to fix the mistakes. Unfortunetly for Rodgers, if you spend £100 million here, you'd better make sure them signings are worth it. Ours arent even close.
  9. Couldnt agree more. Lovren deliberately ran away from his responsibilities. A f***ing s***house manoeuvre if you ask me. He left a young left back to do his job while he bottled it.
  10. That made me chuckle
  11. since we bought Lovren, Markovic and Balotelli for £60 million

  13. But Balotelli is crap, Brendan does know that doesnt he?
  14. when is he back from injury?
  15. I thought he had a poor enough game. But to be fair to him, he made 3 excellent saves, particularly the one onto the bar which really gave us the 3 points yesterday. His kicking and general play still leaves alot to be desired though.
  16. bullet dodged imo. Cest La Vie. Now lets spend the money on someone decent, and not just a make weight.
  17. We'll be lucky to get top 4. We've just sold our best player and biggest point contributer. So far we've done a houllier and bought nothing players.
  18. Remy doesn't score near enough goals. So for that I don't care how much he costs. It's too much.
  19. What a f***ing rip off. 25 million for a 26 year old mediocre midfielder.

  21. id bid 20 million for Seamus Coleman. Arguably the best right full in Europe for me this season. Excellent player
  22. I think that sip by Gerrard, just mentally drained our whole belief. We had such a whirlwind of positive results and momentum before that it was as if everyone saw it and said to themselves, "i knew it was too good to be true". Since then we just havent been good, its really that simple. Fair play to city, they could have crumbled after we beat them, and when they scaped a draw with Sunderland but their squad pulled them over the finishing line. Happy with our season, delighted actually, but there's a sense of "what could have been" as well. We need to strenghten this summer, not just some no mark eejits like Aspas and Alberto, but proper players,
  23. unfortunately im not in the least bit nervous, because since that now infamous slip from Gerrard i knew we wouldnt win the league. Ill watch the game as usual, in my usual chair, doing all the usual "lucky" things i do. But im afraid we're asking for the impossible here. Obviously id give my left nut for us to win it, but i just cant see it. I actually even made a promise to myself, im not a huge lover of footy tattoos, but if we win the league, im willing to get the crest on my arm. Be it a badge of honour, or shame, im not sure, but ill follow through on it. If the gods are looking down on me, here me now. "make me get that tattoo!!!"
  24. id break the bank for Seamus Coleman. f*** that stupid w***** Johnson off.
  25. They'll be in love with "comedy thursdays" next season then. The useless c****. Come on lads, this is a 38 game season, not 36 ;-)
