He's a fanny. He wouldnt even own his box in girls football. His kicking is girls material as well. He rarely kicks the ball way beyond the midfield line which puts us immediately under pressure again.
I'm not argueing Milner isnt good but the fact he's not left footed is sometimes a big limitation. I prefer Henderson in a more advanced role like in 2013-2014. But he isnt that good in front of goal. The midfield trio of Mascherano, Alonso and Gerrard is exactly what would be the difference. But these were world class players who won things regurlarly. Our currently players are far away from being world class. Sadly.
Klopp needs to start building from the back. A good keeper who wins you some matches is vital. Lovren needs to be replaced. He's a back up player. Milner is not the solution for left back neither. Personally I would replace Clyne also but thats purely because his lack of end product. Henderson is not a defensive midfielder. Wijnaldum is a good player for keeping possesion but nothing more. Lallana would keep his place, as well as Coutinho and Mane. A 20+ striker is absolutely required if you want to compete. We lack real quality all over the pitch. And its showing now.
At the beginning I thought he was a poor buy. Then he had some good performances but my initial thought was right unfortunately. Making crucial mistake is a habit.
