RVN did exactly the same what Ronaldo did at psv before him. Scoring loads of goals. Being topscorer of the Dutch league easily with 20+ goals. The same Kuyt is doing right now. Again. -
He's not fitted for the English physical game. Especially not away from home.

Problem might be for tall players like Crouch, who has little body, they will be pushed away easily by a defender. Crouch is not a player who needs high balls to him. He's better with a passing game low on the pitch. I hope Fowler can do which he has done as one of the best in the past. We need something different upfront then what we currently have.

His fitness is getting better as well as his pace. His crosses need improvement though. I dont want to talk about his haircut. It speaks for itself.

whatever you may think of him, when he plays he's good for the balance of our midfield. He's getting better small step a time. His fitness is improving and you can see his form growing every match.

7m for a player with one year left on his contract. I thought Rafa drank to many sangria's after the EC final. But Rafa predicted Crouch would improve our game. I'm glad Rafa did absolutely everything to get him. 7m? Well worth spend IMO!

By saying I only want to go to Newcastle on a 1 year loan, he indicates to me he's more worried about the Worldcup coming up next year then about those magpies! Now thats the teamspirit Mr Souness wants!

Problem is, on current form I cant see both Cisse and Morientes getting that amount of goals this season.
