Not a good buy at all. Been said on dutch television and confirmed by several coaches that he has a knee which is very bad and close to quit. No club wants him because he's a big risk. He wont pass a medical.

Im not really sure, but I think this was the same ref who was our ref at the CL final. I could be wrong though. We lost because we didn't take our chances. But the Fifa lost as well because they still think these kind of referees are good for football. Portuguese are just a bunch of diving c****! Stevie will batter them!

He looks great. has a great pass, lots of pace and vision. But can he beat a man one-to-one and put the cross in? Rafa wont replace Stevie Finnan. He's instrumental in our defece and very important going forward. He has the abillity to put crosses in with both feet which is very hard to defend!

I can't see anyone playing proffesional football at the highest level after breaking a leg like that twice. Which club would want him anyway? To muc risk.

Really bizarre. I only switched to Eurosport 1 second and it immediately happened. If it would have been the same leg his career would be definately over.

If Sven maintains Beckham and Owen alone upfront (which he will) England will struggle at the WC. It was a dive by Stevie, but it was a peno anyway due to that two footed challenge! BTW Germany are 2-0 down to Japan!
