And with Rooney... Agree totally friendship should be left in the dressing room.. Oh, and Souness for me is No.1. He was a force to be reckoned with. Jesus, he killed team midfields on his own. Honourable mentions to Ronnie Whelan (perpetual motion), Steve McMahon (Took anyone out if needs be) and Ray Kennedy (some goalscoring touch from midfield and tough tackler) too..

I did think he sounded like the under pressure GH. The one that made comments competely different to what went on during the game.

Finnan for me. Impeccable at times. A typical Rafa 7 or 8 outta 10 player. Gerrard second, just to give the rest a chance...

Arsenal fans seem to be the ones I socialise with outside of my normal LFC clique. They're an alright bunch mostly. We do have a lot more in common with them, especially being football traditionalists and winning stuff.

Not much top jobs on offer. They've gotta make a living. I'd tip Hitzfeld for the German job if Klinsmann messes up big style in the summer.

From Skysports. Bruno Cheyrou is delighted to be playing a defensive midfielder role for Bordeaux. The 27-year-old is on loan from Liverpool having failed to make the expected impact in England following his move from Lille in 2002. He spent last season at Marseille on a similar deal, but he is now thriving in a new role at Bordeaux. "My role onto the pitch has changed a lot since Lille or Liverpool," said Cheyrou. "I am playing in the back, perhaps I will have fewer opportunities to shine, but I am happy. "I try to have some influence on the team, even if it is hard work. I think I found myself at ease in the new role. "At Liverpool, I played higher, just behind the forward, which didn't match my profile. I need to touch the ball a lot. Before coming to Bordeaux the officials said they see me more in the centre". "I took it as a sign, inside of me I knew".
