My two cents...With Sturridge close to starting hopefully it will signal the end of this 3 at the back and a return to the diamond. If he's fit enough for the bench then just start him and give him an hour instead of 20 minutes at the end. Firmino was the most creative player in Europe last season I believe playing as a number 10 and I personally believe Coutinho is better in a midfield 3 where he has plenty of options and movement ahead of him. I think our best side with current available players is.. ............Mignolet Clyne..Gomez..Sakho. .Moreno ...............Can.. .............. for once can the manager start with playing players in their proper positions for a change. I'd like to see a back four of...Clyne..Gomez..Sakho..Moreno. Plenty of pace and balance in that back four which would allow us to play and high line and press high up the pitch too

you talk about not getting overrun but want to put a player who no longer has the speed over the ground in against the likes of Ozil, Sanchez, Cazorla, Ramsey etc, we'll be over run and totally out played with Lucas in front of those two at the back. Can and Milner will give us energy, work rate and a bit of aggression and Coutinho will give us that craft and guile on the ball in the middle of the park that we are going to need against Arsenal. I'd like to see Ings brought into too so that Benteke is not totally isolated and his workrate will give the Arsenal defence something extra to think about. It's not going to happen though

don't be a pedantic bell end. Lovren is s***e and yes, the back 4 that has shipped around close to a 150 in the last 3 league campaigns. We've made some decent signings but it'll be more of the same at the back.
