Remember when we had the likes of Gerrard, Mascherano and Alonso? now we have Henderson, Can and Milner. All workhorses but lets admit it for f***sake, they lack the sufficient quality we need to get where we want to be, simple as that, lets stop kidding ourselves here.

he's a workhorse and a runner and can play a bit but now as captain he's the one required to step up and bring that bit of class to the team and I don't think he's capable of doing it.

Long and Ings are cut from the same cloth and how we would love for Ings to be fit right now. Obviously we need to going after much better quality in the summer but as a short term solution I wouldn't have a problem with it. Long > Benteke

Subotic injury record has to be a concern though and coming to a more physically demanding league if we do get him on loan. 5 games before he's out injured.

He's not and they won't. With us struggling for years bar 13/14, if one of the top European sides were interested, they would of made a move. He's average and we deserve better, much better.
