I don't want to be too harsh on Stevie after all he's done for the club but you didn't see Lampard or Scholes swanning around the pitch thinking they were Pirlo. There was a point yesterday early on before West Hams second goal where he was out muscled by Stewart f***ing Downing of all players.

I think he's finished to be honest and if I could, I'd replace him in a flash. He's been an amazing player for us, probably the best ever and dragged us through many a season but there's no room for sentiment in football in my opinion. Even with a fully fit squad, Rodgers doesn't have the balls to drop him.

a good portion of this team are pathetic and Gerrard is finished too, couldn't give a s*** what anyone says but he's been shoehorned into a position he was never good enough to play in the first place. We won't get near the top four
