Although I hate to agree with anything Michael Howard says, I agree with him. You don't have to be some career politician to know that that stadium was not fit to host a major football match. Neither were the authorities fit to host that game, with poor/non-existent signs. no intelligible announcements and no turnstiles. Having said that, though, some of our "fans" were not fit to attend a football match of any description. In fact, some of them were not fit to be described as human beings.

Didn't they award us some kind of accolade after the UEFA final in Dortmund and then praise us to the skies after Isatanbul where there was not one single arrest? How is it the same people become "the worst fans in Europe" so soon afterwards? Obvious they're trying to cover their own backs due to their ineptitude and it is nauseating.
