Be on tomorrow when I've (finally) received full details of our trip to Athens but I've heard there's going to be some serious problems. The problems THEY'LL have will mostly be coming from my direction but what they've done to make problems for those booking with them in good faith is VVV bad. I cannot believe how angry I am at their sheer lies and total incompetence. If anyone else has had the misfortune to book with them, let's hear your stories and get together to get compensation via ABTA or ATOL.

They'll go 3 up by half time leaving us all depressed and cursing our luck. Then some of our fans will start a defiant chorus of YNWA which the team will hear causing Rafa to tell them not to let us down. We'll score pretty early on in the second half, possibly through a Gerrard header then we'll get two more in the next few minutes and beat them on penalties. Course, these things only happen in the maddest fiction and no-one alive would retain their credibility if they wrote such a story.

Anyone else going with Independent? I just called to ask why, so far, we'd only received a leaflet outlining what we'd paid but no tickets. A Manc(!) told me everything had gone out last night and we'd be receiving it tomorrow, Monday at the latest. Well that's reassuring isn't it? Has anyone going with thse had their stuff through yet?

We're going with Independent Travel on the 6am from John Lennon. Two nights in central Athens. Still wish it was being played at Old Trafford though. Or Glasgow.
