  1. There has never been a good Brazilian keeper EVER
  2. Will you be posting "War and Peace" tommorow?
  3. The commentator they used for the US coverage was awful too. He kept saying we need a Portsmouth goal to make the game interesting. When we scored he said this is exactly what we didn't need. At the end he was willing the ball in.
  4. He looks thinner already. I have a strong feeling that Fowler will be scoring goals for fun again. I can see him scoring a few Hat-tricks and the likes of the @rse quaking in their boots against him as they used to. I honestly think if he stays healthy he will be the steal of the century. He may have matured but he still has that cheeky look on his face that endured us to him. Great to see him back were he belongs. It must be funny for the likes of Carra and Stvie who must have really looked up to him when they were breaking through. He may help take a bit of pressure of Stevie too, now the crowd will be focused on Robbie(at least for now).
  5. Carra has retorted to hoofing the ball out more as our midfield has forgotten how to pass. He was slicing and hacking balls all over the place yesterday. I have always felt Sami gets the blame for errors that Carra makes like ball watching at times. Maybe Agger needs a run with Carra and Sammi alternating. If he is as good as predicted that is.
  6. Reina 6 - Shaky at times Kromkamp 6 - Had a dcent game Hyypia 7 - Solid Carra 6 - Slicing all kinds of clearances today Warnock 4 - Awful, too nervy for my liking Gerrard 5 - Good start then faded badly Alonso 6 - Good workrate but his passing was off Sissoko 5 - Woeful passer of a ball after he does the hard work Riise 6 - Good goal and workrate Moro 4 - Get your finger out your a*** or pack yer bags. No bottle, urgency or pace. Cisse 6 - Did well when he went out right, some good crosses
  7. The game seems to pass him by. Their is no urgency or heart in his game. He needs to start making things happen as his style of play just isn't suited to us and English football.
  8. Wonder how Mr. Owen is feeling today?
  9. Not enough Fowler threads then
  10. Listening to some talk shows today and to be fair the City fans have been class. All seemed to like Robbie but know his heart has always been at Liverpool. Most wish him well. Nice considering they spent a lot of money on him and he has been injured a lot.
  11. Just put Five Fingers on it
  12. I just broke down and renewed mine. See the club is making money because of Robbie already.
  13. I'd say he is a lot skinnier than 99% on here including me.
  14. Sounds like he is ecstatic and would have done anything to make this deal happen. Kept saying he was chuffed to bits and can't wait to walk down the tunnel in the red shirt.
  15. Why is everyone so surprised. Rafa has always said he wants 1. Players who really want to play for the club 2. Players we can get for the right price. There can't be anyone in the World who would fit those catagories as well as Fowler. You can tell in the interview Robbie would have done anything to wear that red shirt again. I wouldn't be surprised if Robbie isn't a major shareholder in our club one day.
  16. If we were signing Raul, Figo or any other slightly over the hill former star on a free transfer we would be ecstatic. With it being a former Liverpool Legend and loved by the fans it's even fecking better.
  17. Now something like this will speed up his exit from Liverpool if it is true of course. Let's hope we don't have Diouf MarkII off the field as well as on.
  18. If Xabi and Stevie aren't in commanding form we look very toothless with regards to scoring. Sunday was an example, Stevie and Xabi had quiet games by their standards and didn't get forward as often as they do. Our forward line didn't create anything for themselves or threaten Utd in any way. We need a striker who can get stuck in and create things out of nothing. We lost that when Baros went. He at least would make defenders have to think.
  19. My whole attitude on watching us play changes when he starts. After his first touch goes astray and he starts his sulking and mouthing off, I find myself detesting the fella. I never feel that way about any other player but he gets right under my skin. It is painful to think Rafa gives him his chance and he repays him with a lack of effort, discipline and any heart. Quite frankly I preferred watching Diouf in a red shirt and that is saying something.
  20. Just a little less inept than his employers. Now they have a lame duck manager who will be more concerned with sex romps and lining up deals with players than actually winning it.
  21. There is immediately a "Director of player recruitment" position opened at Chelsea. Sven will be starting his networking during the WC.
  22. What decent manager would want to go there. 50 years of mediocrity and no history. The only thing they have going for them is that 50,000 bare beer bellies show up every week.
  23. The Owen transfer has always baffled me. No offers on the table for him and the barcodes come in with a 16 million bid. How can you bid that high with no other takers.
  24. Kewell didn't want to know after his knock. Came into it mor in the second half but by no means a good game for him.
  25. Spot on mate! I was sickened by his lack of effort, heart or enthusiasm when once again Rafa gave him the chance. I would sit the fecker on the bench until he is sent packing. EHD showed much more effort and industry than Cisse and was sent packing.
