  1. The only reason that this situation has occurred is that our last Home FA cup fixture was so long ago (before fancards??) In future games/years, they can do what they do now and use attendance at previous games of the same Competition regardless of how long ago.
  2. Was really pissed off at the Cisse booing - bang out of order. Cisse, Kewell, Carra and Finnan were the only players to energe with any credit yesterday. Finnan MOM for me. The problem is when you're carrying players who can't control a football (Cisse, Momo, Djimi) then you're always going to get moves breaking down. Add to that Crouch and Nando who were slow, then it's no wonder we didn't score. Alonso had a poor game for me, lots of misplaced passes by his standards. Easy with hinsdight, but I'd have had Cisse up front, Garcia on the right. And no Djimi - useless. Warnock can't be that tired surely??
  3. Here's hoping anyway. Currently on Sky Sports News - Not official yet, but confirmation soon apparently. I'd love one last trip to Cardiff!
  4. I'm an ABCAFU*, so come on Everton! *Anyone But Chelsea (Apart From United)
  5. i'll be there. Can't wait, last yr was ace.
  6. It's not that Chelsea are succesful that makes me hate them - it's the way they are in total (team, fans, mgr etc) 1) They have bought the league using ill gotten money as discusssed before - while I may hate man u, I can at least respect the way that they, and especially Arsenal, were succesful by their own work on or off the pitch. 2) Despite spending more money than anyone else in football has ever had over a similar period, they still play negative, dull football relying on set pieces, opposition mistakes, deflections etc. 3) Mourinho - Great manager. Absolute W*nker with no class or respect. Haen't got the time to list all the things he's done 4) Their players, largely coached by Mourinho I assume, to be diving, cheating, rule-bending, ref-chasing, win-at-all costs. The opposite of everything football should be about. Mourinho too as regard rule bending etc (Essien magically fit just as his country are knocked out of the African Nations??) 5) Their fans are a******s - always have been, but even more so now. The managers influence has certainly worn off on them - £50 note anyone?? C*nts 6) "That's why we're Champions" once the deflection/penalty/etc goes in. And they are proud that this is how they are winning the league. 7) By buying the league the way they have, they have ruined the Premiership as a competition - forgone conclusion. 8) buying players just so nobody else can, or driving up the price of someone elses targets. I respect them for their efficiency end punishing of mistakes, but shouldn't you expect nothing less from a team with this much money. It's the way they go about it and the attitude of all connected with their club that makes me hate them.

    Momo Sissoko

He's not a Makelele/Didi type player who sit's and breaks up. He's more 'all action' higher up the pitch. Comparison's with Viera are closer IMO, and for this reason we need to see a product from his passing and shooting.
  8. Baros can offer more than Cisse, although that's not saying much. I think he contributed well last yr, in the Semi's and Final of the CL for example. Caused problems up front on his own and occupied defenders. Would have liked to have seen him playing alongside Crouch.
  9. That's the set for me. good variety in there
  10. Tetti, who's your signature about??

    Chelsea

  12. Thats how I feel most of the time. Dying to sing, and even try to start some songs, but people look at you like you're a wierdo. Find myself giving longing glances up to 202 thinking 'wish I was there'.
  13. Robbe: What's that thing crawling up your leg? Nando: Dunno, but I'm scared!
  14. Fact is, when we were on our great run I'm sure there was a goal or 2 that was a bit lucky/keeper was poor/whatever. Last night we battered a team but couldn't get the result. If it had been 3-0 no-one would have been saying it flattered us. These things happen. We deserved to win. Next...
  15. LOL! was gonna use that pic, but was a bit tacky for my taste...
  16. yours, I believe Probably right about Digger, tho.
  17. interesting noting the age group here. No one mentioning Kenny after 25 posts! Maybe this has been done before, but which former player would add the most to this team? You'd have to say Rushie.
  18. so there is a reason to move to Iceland!
  19. Sami will have to step up to the plate and be the leader back there. But bearing in mind their long ball game i guess keeping Sami in makes sense. Although Emile always murders Sami Fowler AND Agger Debut's, gutted!
  20. a RW would have earnt a V.Good, but instead it's a Good
  21. everyone mentioned above, but special mention to. Molby - class McManaman - One of the best in the world at his peak for us Bugsy - crap but always got stuck in. True cult hero! Also Ronnie Whelan - remember a comeback game against QPR where he was brilliant F*ck it - they were all ace!

    Defoe

same here. from what i hear his link up play isn't the best but he has definitely got the talent
  23. How else could they do it? Wasn't the last home FA Cup game before fan cards?
  24. Yep. I wondered how they were going to do it bearing in mind our last FA cup home game was so long ago. It's gonna be a free for all on the 9th. Fastest finger first!
