Doesn't really make sense though does it. When we won the European Cup we got to the final of the Carling Cup aswell, using some "senior" players, especially in the final. Chelsea won the Carling Cup and are still in the European Cup, FA Cup and are jus about still in the title race. The Mancs are still in two cups and are running away with the league. Think Arsene is just looking for excuses to be honest. Teams nowadays have big enough squads to play in all competitions in my opinion. As Chelsea and the Mancs are proving.

As many others have said, if it's done properly like it is in Germany, and proper precautions and safety measures taken i'm all for it. You feel like a t*** singing whilst sitting down.. In my opinion its why the Kop is always better on Euro nights/big league and cup games, because everyone stands, and at aways. Everyone feels more inclined to "get involved" as it were.

For an easy tie you want PSV, they looked absolutely s**** at Anfield earlier in the season. The only dangerous thing about the team is the fact their goalie can throw the ball the full length of the pitch! For atmosphere and just total intensity you want the mancs, but we'd have to beat em.

When did I say we didn't have a good young squad? I just dunno why everyone is comparing us to them, like its some kind of competition. Ultimately their "young side" has cost them their season, and as Benitez (the poster) says there isn't anything really to be jealous of - I just dunno why it bothers people that Arsenal have good young players, and then gets annoyed that the media recognise this. The media recognise Sissoko and Agger etc aswell. It isn't just one big witch hunt to put us down.

woah wheres all this Arsenal hate coming from? People are almost coming across as jealous in the topic. I don't mind them at all personally. Any team that beats us convincingly 3 times out of 3 deserves a bit of praise in my opinion. And they do have a very young squad - anyone that argues against that is crazy, yes they've got some experienced players, but that still doesn't hide the fact they have a hell of a lot of good players under the age of 24 who took em to the Carling Cup final. Quite like Arsenal really apart from them beating us. Find their fans alright aswell, and I don't think you can knock Wenger really as he's done a good job there, won them the league and got them to a european cup final. He's also got a very good eye for good young players. On the other had though, Henry is a bit of a nob. Just because the media go on about Arsenal's young team doesn't mean they're having a pop at us.
