Things like youtube as well mean people learn the songs and reckon they're sung all the time - so just go and start em off when they do go. Theres loads of videos on there of people singing your more contraversial football songs (Munich, Hillsborough, Jewish related etc). I reckon there is a new generation of football fan coming through, inspired by things like Football Factory and the Internet, that wanna go and turn a few heads - and also get a video of them singing something to put on the internet and look hard.

They've done what any sane person would do if they had that money at their disposal and had just brought Liverpool Football Club. It's good they seem willing to get involved. The real test for me though will be a few years down the line if the club still hasn't progressed from the 'next season is going to be the one' mentality with regards to the league title. From what we've seen so far though they look like they are in it for the long haul, which is good.

Looked so promising after we played Palace and him and Smicer linked up so well... Apart from that though, don't remember what else he did. Was never a massive fan of his whilst he was with us to be honest. Good player, but not for the Premiership. Same as Morientes really.

It's laughable the amount of people that totally miss the point of the original post. I swear some people just see that the post isn't a (somehow) positive account on the fact that we have yet to bring in any players to the problem areas pretty much everyone agreed on before the window started (a QUALITY striker and winger), and just deliberatley simplify what is quite a valid point in order to try and make the original poster look like a w***er. The original point is correct in my opinion. We need to buy quality proved players to take us to the next level. Benitez has had 2 summers to 'build his squad' now and get depth, we need these players, be it Malouda, Simao, Torres, Eto'o, Tevez... whatever - to give us a shout of vaguely challenging for the league title we need big names. I hope and I'm sure Rafa is doing his best to sign these types of players with all the media speculation on them etc (which surely proves that Rafa is looking for a big name player!?). But I find it bizarre that people seem so content with the fact that our first eleven has no new players, and the players have already started training and our first friendly is in less that two weeks time.

Who scored more in the Prem last year? Theres loads of stats where one or the other wins. You could make a case for either being better, its not that clear cut in my opinion. I'd probs rather have Crouch as he is quite a unique player who also scores his fair few, but Bent is a good pacey goalscoring striker in his own right.

But then you could say why didnt all the people deseperate for a season ticket not get one in the early 90s when there was no waiting list?? Fair enough if you're only around 20 years old, but if you're over 30, you could of got a season ticket ages ago. You can say you couldn't afford it back then etc. But they are alot more expensively priced now than they were back then, yet everyone with a season ticket manages to find the money to renew each year. I don't have a Season Ticket btw, I'm only 19 years old and my dad wouldnt get me one when I was 6, but I don't know why people seem to begrudge the people that do.

Nearer to kick off you've gotta chance it I reckon... after paying all the money to go out there, as wasteful as it sounds, 50 Euros for a chance to get into the ground isn't gonna make much difference to your wallet. Then again you've gotta look at it to make sure it looks pretty good, as theyll probs be a lot of people about trying to make a bit of cash from s*** fakes.

bunch of tossers who probably go to all our home games, pay around £600 for a season ticket, have been to all our Euro home games but have been f***ed off for a European Cup Final ticket when someone who could of been to six games in their life gets one??

Maybe proof that over a third of our fans allocation has gone to 'other sources' within the club? Corporates already get 20,000 tickets in the stadium and we want to give even more away from our own allocation. Generosity is great!
