Ha ha - imagine them both being called Tony. Don't reckon Klopp would have loved McManaman as much as some on here think. Think the Bobby Robson 'flatterer' thing wasn't far from the truth and Klopp would want more end product. Would be interesting to see if Klopp could coach that into him but don't think he'd ever be a great striker of a football

The foul on Allisson was pretty similar to the foul the ref gave on Jota for challenging for a header after Darwin's header was saved. So the usual complaint that people/sky insist is all they want - the rules being applied inconsistently - doesn't apply in this case but we're still all going to have a cryarse about it. Ref had a decent game, result was fair but we need something to ramble on about for hours after the match and Pep mentioned it so off we go....

Would be great if this was an actual injury. I'd be happiest with career-ending but not necessarily life threatening.
