Gary McAllister for one.

I know the interest and reported moves for Silva were genuine at the end of the season but haven't heard anything new for a while now. That not necessarily a bad thing though.

Xabi deal is done. Sad day this.

We played Pompey at home a couple of years ago and Westerveld was on their bench. He came in the players lounge after the game collecting our players autographs, I dont think anyone gave him more than a cursory 'hello' and a signature. Just a weird sight watching him act like a fan with what should have been peers.
-
But, all contract talks with existing players are going far more smoothly, plus maybe Parry would have sold Xabi by now for a lot less than Rafa is holding out for.

Random or not, its true.

The KIng will be on stage on Saturday!
-
Dont know about signings, but I reckon Mascherano will be forced to stay.
-
Actually Babel has come back fitter that he has ever been and looks up for it. Doc Waller examined him and said he might have even detected the beginnings of a heart growing!
-
Agger it was. And he is class!
-
Apparently he has looked superb in training so far. A really top player!
-
Funny one about Lucas. He got married in Rio in the Summer and invited some of the Liverpool players.......Night time only!
-
I think you are misjudging Mascherano.
-
Who with? Rafa?
-
I doubt you will see him in centre mid for the Reds anymore.
-
Regarding Xabi, I think we should make him stay, its World Cup year and he will still give 100%. Use this season to sort a replacement. Although I think Rafa probably has someone lined up already as this has been rumbling on for ages.
-
To be fair that might happen, fingers crossed. I am more appalled at the Babel/Voronin situation!!!
-
I think Xabi will go, not a certainty, but probable, and for nearer 35 million that the 50 being talked about. Arbeloa will go there too more than likely. Babel and Voronin will be staying as squad members too.
-
Actually, I heard he has a buyout clause for considerably less than the figures mentioned

I am only on here to witness Anny Road's barbed comments to everyone!
