Its sometimes more than just tactics though. Sometimes attitude and actual ability are more important. Man United are a typical example of a team who achieve more than they should due to having an aggressive, attacking attitude on the pitch. For all his faults Ferguson is someone who makes his players believe. If someone keeps telling you to watch out for this, dont gamble here, dont gamble there, be wary of this player doing that, watch out for this one doing the other, in the end you are going to be more worried about doing something wrong than trying to do something positive. I am not saying Rafa is a the worst example of this, but some of our performances this season have been startlingly bad. Fulham away, for an entire half we didn't have a single shot. 45 minutes of football without a shot on goal. How are we supposed to score a goal????
