I think there is definitely a difference in how effective Coutinho was around the box when he had players such as Sterling, Sturridge and especially Suarez in front of him. I just think that he receives the ball and is expecting the players in front, to the side of him to make a certain run or take up a certain position, and its not happening. That may explain why he sometimes takes the extra touch, or tries to force the pass with a heavily weighted kick....

Bring Sami back i think.

I would like to see Ings get a game ahead of IBE.... Ibe seems to be making way to many mistakes at present, and needs to sit on a bench for a couple of games. Can Ings play down the right?

I just really wish he had of BELTED the ball into the net... dont feel he attacked the ball hard enough... Overall though he really impressed me today with is overall play. He seemed to rattle and unsettle the Arsenal defense which opened up the others...

Agree about IBE, i had high hopes for him this year, but i do not think we will see the rapid raise of Sterling in ibe. We are better off spending 15m on Mahrez and sending out Ibe on loan in return to Leicester.

The problem is we are not getting the ball to him enough! He had 3 chances today, 1 goal, 1 post, 1 fizzler which just missed..... This is all without actually bombing the ball into the box!

Nothing wrong with Benteke yesterday when he had the ball! Tactics were the main problem regarding his involvement. How many chances did we create for him?? Zero! With regards to critique! i will pull him up on 1 thing. His inability/unwillingness to close down defenders was really pissing me off towards the end of the game when we needed to find a goal, put some pressure on them. Also there was 1 part of the game late on, where CAN made a run on the right, calling for the ball after a corner, Mingolet held it up instead... CAN WENT OFF HIS HEAD!

I would rather see us play a 4-4-2 diamond if i am completely honest with you guys... Play the same back four. Can at the bottom of diamond Milner Left Henderson Right Coutinho/Firminho top of Diamond Couinho/Firminho/Ings #10 role Benteke as a #9 We have always looked strong under BR with this formation, and it would allow 2 creative players to play in Benteke, and fundamentally allow them to run off him when he wins headers. It would also stop the isolation of Benteke which was far to often in the Stoke game from a tactics perspective. Lalana is really starting to s*** me. I expected so much from him last year which was a let down for various reasons. However this year he has already started pourly, and instead of being a starter/leader/main player, he keeps f***ing hiding and getting knocked off the ball like a pussy. I would actually rather see INGS play instead of Lalana, atleast we will have a goal threat!

Were flashes of understanding between him and Benteke..... time will tell but they were very encouraging. I just felt that Benteke was too isolated at times, not enough players around him. Dule

The chnage for CAn really seemed to make a difference. Not sure if the formation changed also, i beleive it went to a 4-3-3, but we really loooked like were in more control... Would be interesting to see us play a 4-4-2 diamond, with Ings or Firmino playing next to Beneteke who seemed very isolated? Just my 2 cents.

The best thing that could happen here, is Lovren f***s up the first 3 games without us losing points, e.g. 3 wins, at 2-1 scorelines, coming from behind, from a Lovren error. This would then make BR have a rethink, pick Sahko, and lay him the rest of the season!

Would a full season on loan for Markovic in the EPL be beneficial? I'm thinking that a year at Leicester City or to West Brom or Swansea would do wonders for him? I actually think Ibe is more ready than Markovic is at this point, and with Lallana, Sturridge, Firminho, Coutinho, Benteke all fighting for the Attacking roles, we essentially could do without him? Just my 2 cents..

Ings looks good! bit of a fox in the box... unlucky to have his goal chalked off it was never a foul. Also Rossitier looks the goods again!

Ive always said 50m-60m.... It should be silly money, only because he is English, not because he is better than Neymar who cost 50m going to Barca..

I personally think there are better players on the market, who would not be worth 50m. I would rather have Reus in our attacking play for 35m over Raheem who has a pretty poor return on his end product. Can we get Reus though? throw enough money at him and anyone is possible. The problem is FSG seem to be tight on the wages.

I take the point DJS is making, but I ask another questions then. You give Raheem the 150k a week he wants, how much are you going to pay your Captain Henderson? And what are you going to tell Coutinho since he just signed an 80k contract ? What does this also tell our other youngsters? You only need to do well for 18 months in order to earn a staggering 120k contract rise? I will admit that I would prefer Sterling to stay, but all those questions above are rather sticky for me.
