I actually think he is far to overrated by the majority of the English media. If we were offered anywhere near the money we got for Suarez I would sell!.... His inefficiency on the ball gives me a sore head almost every time i watch him. The kid has talent sure, but he is so far away from being the finished article it is not funny. How many times did cross the ball yesterday with no end product? Or how many times did he fail to beat his man? He cannot even strike a ball ffs... The kid could potentially be a world star in years to come, but Coutinho & Henderson deserve to be on more money than this kid does. There i said it!

I think Milner is a BR signing, he could play anywhere along the middle 4 and do a job in the current formation. He could also play in the middle 3 of a 4-3-3, and even uptop as a winger if you really needed him to. I dont think we will get him though, can see other clubs throwing money at him, even Chelsea because Mourine loves hard working players who can follow instructions. I think we would do well to sign one of lars bender or christof kramer. They are both up and coming DM's.

I think Allen has been very solid with his contribution. He is not a starter, but he has not played bad neither.

Mario is a no brainier for me... he has all the talent in the world, just needs it harnessed. are you telling me that BR does not know how to nurture and get the best out of players? Great positive post on the player for player replacement, and I can see the positives in signing someone like Eto on a 1 year contract. But I cannot help but feel we are short changing ourselves? I have been thinking about this more and more, and I honestly believe that its important to NOT replace suarez, but to have a backup player in a similar mold to Sturridge. We are currently loaded with players that can play behind the striker or either side of the 3 midfielders behind the striker as we played against Dortmund. I worry that if Sturridge goes down, who the f*** comes in? Lambert? Really have not been convinced so far. Divock Origi, seems similar a lot of ways to Daniel Sturridge, and I wont if we made a mistake in not keeping him? He could have been a player to sit on the bench and wait for his opportunity when he gets it. I sincerely can not think of a single Striker that is available, that could fit the profile of DS, The Diao kid from Lazio seems similar, that the link seems plausible based on the videos and his liking to DS. I just fear we are now short up front, and with the extra games, DS injuries, we could potentially be short up front?

English media was raping RAFA for playing SG on the right, and SG was bitching about it to Bascome and co on a regular basis. Mind you, that was his best ever season for us. He was the complete player, scoring 23 goals in the process. The only other season that could compare, was when he played directly behind Torres, as a #10, feeding him those glorious ball, and scoring his own in the process. SG was never meant to be a holding player, he does not have the discipline. Mind you he wasnt terrible at it last year, but you can already see in pre-season how effective a proper DM like Lucas is at the role.

The sooner we replace Johnson the better, I fear we have made a big mistake not going for Callum Chambers. Arsenal have got a real player there.

I will not be bitter. Other than the reasons for suspension, I will miss his will and determination to win. He done his best for our club in every game he played, almost guiding us to our first title in so many years. Thank you for the memories, good luck with the future, time to move on and love another LFC star. We have an opportunity now to shape our club for the next 10 years!! Lets just pray make the right purchases.
