Is f***ing right Murph, makes me f***ing seeth seeing that all the f***ing time. Adidas is a brand. Carlsberg is a brand. Stuff you f***ing burn horses and cattle with is a brand. We are not a f***ing franchise either. McDonalds is a f***ing franchise.

I agree that the loss of Essien has contributed to the downfall of Chelski. Probably throw Makelele into the mixer as well there. Mikel just can't handle Gerrard and we've seen it in both games they have played this season. He can't take the physicality side of the game that Essien had improved on dramatically and then is very blunt when it comes to the attacking side of things. There is no real danger from the wide guys anymore. Couldn't remember once when our lads were attacked down the flanks. The attack is a one out forward who I don't think suits the role (Anelka). DogBreath can't be arsed and it's visible. Deco is past his best. Cech is suffering a terible case of no confidence. No Carvalho leaves their defence looking shaky at best. Although Alex did play well yesterday. Happy f***ing days!

The game against the Mancs is the game that decides the title for me. We're good enough I think to stay within range until then. We have lots to be positive about... Torres, Skrtel, Arbeloa, Insua, Agger and Alonso coming back from injury. Mascherano will find form, Keane will click and hopefully Benayoun & Babel will contribute a bit more. I believe!!

There is indeed a supporters club in Sydney.. I'm on the committee! I know shiny badge an' all! This Saturday (Oct 11) there is a special event on at Cheers Bar (George St, Sydney) where we play the Blues****, Celtic, Rangers and a couple of other small time clubs (Mancs, The a***) in darts, pool, trivia etc. Registration starts at 11am for 12pm kick off. There is a Sydney LFC Supporters meeting after this (5, 6pm). Good night, good lads.... $5 Pints!!!!

I think the lad has actually added a bit of energy when we have needed it in both the games he has come on.... which funnily enough we've won... Stupid yellow he picked up but I put that down to youthful exhuberance. Kinell some on here are f***ing tough. Same folks I guess claiming that Xabi is now suddenly s***... can't please some f***ing people.

I think the game highlighted for me how much we miss Mascher breaking up the oppositions attacks. Stevie had to sit a bit deeper as a result and we missed that link between Keane and Torres. In saying that the two up front are starting to show some understanding with each other. The 1-2 they played near the end of the first half deserved more and I think we are starting to see the beginning of a lethal combination. Xabi looked a bit jaded to me. Not sure if it was the midweek international but just looked a yard off the pace. Benayoun looked lost today. Taking too many touches instead of playing pass and move footy. You don't play championship winning football in August lads. We've had many a false dawn where we play brilliant football and come away with nothing. At best you try and get the results and build momentum for the bigger games later in the season. A win is a win.. you don't get less points because the win lacked style or flair. These games aren't remembered in May as squeaky, they are remembered for helping build a title challenge. Win ugly or lose playing stylish football... I know which one I prefer...

If you think hard enough you will get it.... But you will have to think quite a lot. to "think hard" is to concentrate. orange juice is often made from concentrate. orange is a fruit, orange is also the colour of the dutch national team. "think quite a lot". 'quite a lot of oranges' go into making a litre of concentrate. these oranges have to be squeezed. which dutch midfielder's name is so long it would have to be 'squeezed' on to the back of a shirt. at 14 characters (including spaces), the player with the longest name in the dutch national midfield is... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Van der Vaart f*** in hell... I just got a Jeff Goldblum flashback from Independence Day how you dejuiced that!! I'll get my coat....

I remember watching Keano when he was at Wolves and heard he was a Liverpool supporter. He was the dogs b******s there and wished we had got him before Inter. Think he lost his way a little when he went to Italy, didn't think the pace of Serie A would suit him but defo back to the class player I always thought he could be. He has all the attributes of a Liverpool player and would play for the shirt as though his life depended on it. Get him in!

If that is the one where McMahon kept it in, beat three players, gave it to Beardsley who had a shot and Aldo was on the end "in the poachers position" that was f***ing magic. That to me was the opitomy of Liverpool Football Club. Never ever, f***ING EVER give up. Would also have Aldo's in the Semi-Final against Forest in '88 (Beardsley, Barnes, Aldo volley) well up there...

Wonder what Megson will be saying in the press though when Chelsea rest their best players against them to make sure they are fresh for the off season and end of season trip.... Or when Arsene will send out a weak team against Sunderland to rest them to make sure they are able to stay up past their bed time to watch us play in Europe.... Oh... it's not the same is it?! Sure we'll hear it all again before we have to play Birmingham anyway... as Rafa said... you have 38 games x 3 points = 114.... don't f***ing cry over 3....
-
I think I find it hard to believe you need a "practice draw" before the "real draw".... I mean how f***ing hard is it to pull one ball out after the other??!!! You're not f***ing swallowing swords or flaming torches.... We will win anyway! YNWA

He has always been one of the most overated players... I just have never seen him perform when it counts. Absolutely made up he played against us in both legs to tell you the truth... one less threat. Make that two if you throw in Cruz. And Stankovic... WTF??!! This is meant to be the best team in Italy yeah??!! They would struggle to be mid table in the Premier League. Would have shat myself if Crespo had played though.

In Australia we have a facility to send faxes/emails

Felt Shanks was defo there tonight keeping them out. 43 years since we lost. 43 years since they've won it last. They are cursed for their actions from that day and long may it continue. Our lads were f***ing outstanding again, they can make as many excuses as they want but over 180 minutes they couldn't score and were never a threat... See you in 43 years time Inter... YNWA

Did that Italian rag get Glen Hoddle and his Mystic Meg sidekick to write some of that?
-
I think we might see a 4-4-2 tomorrow myself.. Gerrard to be pushed wide right drifting into the middle with Lucas and the Monster Masch. Got a strange feeling that Crouchinho might get a start tomorrow as well to push them back and without Cordoba and that diving exf***ing bitter... anyone know if Chivu or Crespo playing tomorrow?

Been saying this for ages.. Kuyt's form was linked to his Da dying. His biggest fan and his best mate. He needs the type of player in the mould of Kalou when they were at Feyenoord together they were f***ing brilliant. The one player we have missed this season is the Luis Garcia type player. We sell him and get Torres... pity we couldn't have got Nando and kept lil Luis because that would have been dynamite. I said a couple of weeks ago when this team gels we are going to be f***ing unstoppable and the last few games (consistent team working in a set formation) we have looked boss. The future is bright, the future is us. Ferguson may have copied us but guess what... we're about to get back on our f***ing perch!! YNWA

The Cahills: A family of s***houses
Reds4Life replied to Andy Mac's topic in General Football Discussion
If Robbie gets banned for an insensitive goal celebration that was just "rumours" then Cahill should expect nothing more than the same if not more. If he wants to support his brother, drive down to the clink and pass him some anusol.. -
Ta Redden.. If we are the best supporters in the world at least we can f***ing act like it!! First time I was at Anfield was the year after the treble... against Oxford United... with Ray Houghton and a certain John Aldridge in their team... when I was 4. Heard Tommy getting belted out while I was in the Kop and wanted to learn it the whole way home so the next time I got taken I could sing along...
-
FFS Mike.. If people who are new to the club and want to learn about the club, why can't we help them?? If Tommy is a song they love (and for f***ing good reason) then why can't we help them... When was the last time you heard it sung properly and when was the best time you heard it being sung? That's the sort of info these lads want to learn about...
-
For me... and I did ask RTK about this... Just after YNWA... if we got Old Scouser Tommy up and running... and I mean singing it, not the 160bpm version for the rave scene... this would intimidate the f*** out of any supporters... It's a song that when it gets passed down from Grandad to Dad to son, you want to learn all the words to... As he lay on the battlefield dying dying dying With the blood gushing out of his 'ed As he lay on the battlefield dying dying dying These were the last words he said.... OOOOOOHHHHHHHH IIIIIIII AM A LIVERPUDLIAN.... All together now!!! YNWA

But if you had Alonso playing the Libero role and pushing forward into attack, you have the added option of his passing/vison and Masch pulling in deeper to defend/cover this with Lucas playing the holding role... I just think we need to add more dimensions to our attack.. it's incredibly stagnated at the moment which I think doesn't help Torres and whoever else is up front find that bit of space... By allowing Alonso to play the Libero role, you are attaking from different angles, opening play up a bit more, putting defences in different minds etc... Just a thought like...
-
Would anyone consider playing Xabi in a sweeper role with Carra/Skrtel and Sami/Agger in front of him? Then we could have Masch, Lucas and Gerrard in the middle, Pennant/Finnan on the right and Babel/Aurelio on the left with Torres and Kuyt up front. I know Xabi wants to play sweeper sometime in his life.. read somewhere he wanted to play the Libero role Mattheus played and I think it would work... We really need the overlapping fullbacks with a bit of pace (Alves type) and this system would work for us I think.

Are you f***ing thick?? The origin of Tarmac was the WHITE HEIGHWAY!! Barnesy was the Black Heighway!! FFS. Scouse humour and all that la. Think about where we're from and have a f***ing laugh will yer. We take the piss out of everything.. ourselves mainly mate. I understand racism but I don't understand your misguided attempts to make this into something it most definitely isn't. I apologised before and really you should just give it a rest now because you are making yourself look like a t**. And please stop putting up your popcorn emoticon, it's doing you no favours, only antagonising a situation unneccesarily.
