  1. Absolutely I think its simply a case of him taking a lot of time to get to a physical level in training that Slot is happy with. Looked sharp yesterday, but it is a different matter starting games.
  2. of course he's taking the piss, he's very clever like that
  3. Yes, agreed. Those 3 points against Soton feel huge right now. The team was spot on for that match. And we were brilliant for about 70 mins on Tuesday. Got worse when Trent got injured. And we were rubbish yesterday, Missed trent massively. And Jones should have started ahead of Jota.
  4. Hate that we are losing him this summer. He's irreplaceable.
  5. Yep, it just sends out the wrong signal too.
  6. Spot on. Slot has been brilliant. All this talk of rotation is bizarre - people actually saying he should play players he doesnt rate ahead of better players. And with what result? We would have less points in the league and be in a fight with Arsenal. Sure, the players are feeling it. Lay that blame squarely at the door of FSG. He could definitely have used Chiesa a bit more, but Endo is being very overrated here. And Elliott has always been much better as a sub. Are people saying Elliott should have started at the expense of Dom yesterday? Not a chance. Who else is there? Bradley and Quansah and Tsimikas he has used when he has had Nunez has had plenty of minutes. Jota has had plenty of minutes. I have lived through every league season since 1990. Apart from Klopp's brilliant side of 18-20, us producing a string of youngsters to match man utd's 90s youngsters, having peak Suarez at the club, and Rafa's midfield we have just 1 league title in 35 years. So, for Slot to come in and do what he has done this season in his first year in English football is absolutely incredible. Not least given we are competing against billion spending City, Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal. There's been a lot of focusing on his 'mistakes' this week. 12 points clear in the league entering April.
  7. The first goal was in the corner but a couple were in the corner in Paris and Allison saved them. Not sure he saves either tbh, but it was a mistake not playing him.
  8. I hope not gakpo should be fit by the next league game and Chiesa should get more minutes also
  9. Nunez was even worse Yep need to reconfigure midfield and attack
  10. He was excellent but that’s the situation that suits him best - when he has time on the ball to play his passes
  11. Jota and Nunez surely dont start again any time soon?
  12. There are concerns and there are ridiculous comments about disgrace and shortcomings We are 12 points clear in the league FFS! That is amazing.
  13. He looked like a proper footballer. Which is nice
  14. My concerns are how we back Slot in the transfer market this summer. How we replace Trent is absolutely vital. And the need to refresh our forward line, and add to our midfield. And buy a top quality centre back.
  15. It was a bad day for him, but it happens. Nothing he could do to make up for Trent being missing, but he should have subbed Jota off earlier and strengthened midfield Both Jones and Elliott improved us there, although Elliott generally does well as a sub when the game is being played in the opposition half, because he can pick a pass
  16. "shows his shortcoming" You regularly post garbage, but even by your standards that is pathetic
  17. Yep, in amongst a sea of mediocrity Nunez still managed to be appalling. One brutal touch in the penalty, area fell over a few times, did absolutely nothing. I'd happily sell all of Nunez, Jota and Diaz.
  18. Very disappointing performance A mistake not to start Allison A mistake not to make changes at half time Missed Trent massively.
  19. Chiesa looked really good give him a run in the team
