    All managers are involved in transfers unless its something completely dysfunctional like chelsea under boehly you scout players every time you watch a game of football. its just part of the job of being a manager and analysing what goes on on the pitch, both in games your club is involved in and in other games you watch

    I just think his success this season will inevitably give him a powerful voice also, chiesa was clearly not his pick and he hasnt played him. they will realise it will be money wasted if he doesnt fancy the player Yep Whatever the plan last summer, he's in a hugely strong position now And I imagine the club will want to back him and work with him, not against him
