I think its ok to say he hasnt been great this season. Its also a measure of where he is that the consenus seems to be we need a more experienced right back.
its also nonsense to say he's a much better defender than Trent. If that makes people feel better about Trent going, ok I get it. But its simply not true.
And I'm not annoyed at Bradley for not being as good as Trent. He's young, and will improve although obviously he's never going to have that ability on the ball - but then very few would.
There's definitely a lot of understandable anger at the manner of Trent's departure that is feeding into a fair bit of revisionism, and simultaneously an overstating of the abilities of the lad who isnt leaving.
Just for context - Bradley is 21. At 21 Trent was probably the best right back in the country.
